(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina's race for governor is heating up after Wednesday's debate.
Incumbent Republican Henry McMaster and Democratic challenger Joe Cunningham touched on gay marriage, COVID mandates, abortion, and the economy.
McMaster said he supports a statewide constitutional ban on gay marriage.
Meanwhile, Cunningham accused the Republican of mishandling parts of the pandemic. On abortion, McMaster claimed the Democrat wants a standard that could potentially allow the procedure for any reason up to 24 weeks.
