More Rabid Animals Being Found Across South Carolina

(Columbia, SC) --More rabid animals are being found in South Carolina. 

DHEC says a rabid cat was found in Batesburg-Leesville. 

That's the seventh animal to test positive for rabies in Lexington County this year. 

DHEC confirms 68 cases of rabid animals across the state so far in 2022.
