(Columbia, SC) -- A marching band from South Carolina's capital city will be performing in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.
Benedict College Marching Tiger Band of Distinction left for the trip on Sunday. The trip includes 150 students and dozens of staff members.
On Thursday, they'll play along with nine other bands selected by the Macy's Parade Band Committee.
