Flu Cases Spiking Across SC

(Columbia, SC) -- Flu cases are spiking across South Carolina. 

Local health officials are calling it the worst flu season in over a decade. 

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control reports 30 people have died.

 Meanwhile, more than 36-thousand residents have had lab-confirmed cases of the flu and hospitalizations are up 40-percent compared to last year.
