(Colleton County, SC)- The double murder trial of Alex Murdaugh continues today in Colleton County.
On Wednesday, the state and Murdaugh's defense team both made their opening statements.
The state was then asked to call a witness, but was unable to move forward as planned because the court's audio-visual system was not working properly.
Court was then put into recess and will resume at 9:30 this morning.
