(Colleton County, SC) - The prosecutor in the Alex Murdaugh double murder trial has finished closing arguments.
On Wednesday, the jurors in the case visited the South Carolina property where Murdaugh's wife Maggie and son Paul were killed in June of 2021.
Murdaugh, a former prominent attorney, is accused of fatally shooting them.
Closing arguments then started around noon, with the state laying out their case for over three hours.
The defense will start their closing arguments when court resumes this morning.
