(Greenville, SC)- A Greenville woman is facing charges after allegedly having an unlawful abortion.
In 2021, the woman was brought into a hospital where she told staff she had taken abortion medication without medical supervision.
She was almost 26 weeks pregnant, which is past the legal limit of 20 weeks in South Carolina.
If convicted, the woman faces up to two years in prison and a one-thousand dollar fine.
