Stephen Smith's Mother Wants His Body Exhumed, Independently Examined

(Hampton County, SC)- The mother of Stephen Smith is calling for his body to be independently exhumed and examined. 

This comes after SLED opened an investigation into the 19-year-old's 2021 death. 

The agency cited evidence found while investigating the murders of Maggie and Paul Murdaugh.  

Stephen Smith's mom Sandy has launched an online fundraiser to help with the effort.
