Governor Signs Incentive Package For Auto Company

(Columbia, SC) -- An automobile company is set to receive a massive incentive package for its new electric vehicle plant in Richland County.

 Governor Henry McMaster signed off on the one-point-three-billion-dollar package for Scout Motors yesterday. 

The company anticipates bringing four-thousand jobs to the plant, which will produce EVs for Volkswagen.

The incentive package is a record for South Carolina.
