(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina women's basketball coach and its star player are being honored at the highest level.
Yesterday, coach Dawn Staley and Aliyah Boston were named as finalists for Naismith Awards, which are presented to the nation's most outstanding individuals in basketball.
Boston has already been named SEC Player of the Year.
The Gamecocks are taking an undefeated record into the Sweet Sixteen this weekend.
