The family of a former NFL player who killed 6 people in Rock Hill then turned the gun on himself, is suing South Carolina State University.
Phillip Adams committed the murders in 2016. After his death, doctors diagnosed Adams with CTE, a brain disease common in football players.
Adams' family filed the lawsuit against his alma mater, alleging Adams suffered head trauma when he played for the Bulldogs from 2006 thru 2009, and that his injuries were not properly treated.
