SC To Get $51 Million From Fed To Replace 6 Bridges In Union County

Six bridges in Union County will be replaced using federal funding.

The U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Highway Administration is giving 51-point-two-million dollars to South Carolina. The rural bridges being replaced are between 68 and 101 years old but carry over 13-thousand vehicles per day.

The funding for South Carolina is part of a nationwide bridge investment program.
