(Columbia, SC) -- The South Carolina House is advancing a bill that could get lethal injections started in the state.
The measure is a shield law, aimed at keeping the identities of those who sell South Carolina lethal injection drugs hidden from the public.
The bill passed the Senate earlier this year, and on Wednesday the House voted 75 to 21 in favor of it after a second reading.
Governor McMaster has been calling on lawmakers to pass a shield law and is expected to sign it when it makes it to his desk.
