(Columbia, SC) - Former attorney and convicted murderer Alex Murdaugh is now indicted on 22 new charges.
The financial fraud-related charges include accusations that Murdaugh defrauded clients, including the estate of his housekeeper, who died in 2018.
He's expected to plead guilty today to a charge of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection to that case.
Murdaugh is already in prison for the deaths of his wife and son in 2021.
