Lexington Schools Agree To Drop Lessons On Race To Settle CRT Lawsuit

(Lexington, SC)-- Lexington Schools have agreed to end their lessons on race to end a lawsuit from lawmakers over teaching critical race theory.

The Lexington One School District yesterday signed the agreement which settles the lawsuit from South Carolina Freedom Caucus.

Lawmakers said Lexington's lessons on race violated the state law against teaching critical race theory.

The lawsuit was filed in November of last year.

The agreement requires Lexington Schools to drop the curriculum it was using for at least one year, something the school district says it had already done.
