(Columbia, SC) -- A Richland County superintendent position that has been vacant for nearly six months is now filled.
The Richland Two school district named Kim Moore as superintendent on Tuesday.
Moore is a retired U.S. Army Chemical Corps Officer and comes to Richland County after serving as assistant superintendent for the Pasco County School District near Tampa, Florida.
She succeeds Baron Davis, who resigned in January.
