(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina's tax-free weekend dates have been announced.
For 72-hours, eligible items can be purchased in-person and online without having to pay the state's six-percent sales tax.
Local taxes will also be waived from midnight Friday August 4th to the end of the day Sunday August 6th.
Items eligible for tax-free purchases that weekend include school supplies, clothes, shoes, some bed and bath items, computers, and printers.
