(Newberry, SC) - A Newberry police officer killed in a crash while on duty will be honored today.
Services for Lieutenant Michael Wood are happening at Wiles Chapel on Newberry College's campus starting at 10 this morning.
This comes after Wood's unmarked patrol car collided with a tractor-trailer Wednesday night.
Governor McMaster has ordered flags at the State Capitol to be flown at half-staff from sunrise until sunset today in tribute to Lieutenant Wood.
