New Safety Measures In Place As Richland District Two Returns To Class

(Richland County, SC)- New safety measures are in place as Richland School District Two starts the new school year.

When high school students returned to class yesterday, they were met at the entrance by safety screening stations.

Teachers will also have crisis alert badges, which can be used to notify police of an emergency or put the school on lockdown.

The district says they are also hiring more school resource officers for every school.
