(Richland County, SC)- A new director has been named for the jail in Richland County.
Crayman Harvey was serving as the interim director at Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center before being promoted to the role permanently.
Harvey started at the county jail as the assistant director in 2022, but has nearly two decades of criminal justice and law enforcement experience.
County officials announced the promotion Tuesday.
