The South Carolina Supreme Court is reversing a decision and approving the state's six-week abortion ban.
By a vote of four-to-one Wednesday morning, the court replaced the existing 20-week abortion ban. In January, the court sided with Planned Parenthood and other plaintiffs that the six-week ban was unconstitutional.
Lawmakers had added four exceptions to the original ban, including exceptions for rape and incest and when the mother's life is at risk.
