(Colleton County, SC)-- SLED is now investigating claims of jury tampering made by Alex Murdaugh's defense team.
South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson requested the SLED investigation.
This comes after Murdaugh's lawyers claimed there was jury tampering involving the Colleton County Clerk of Court that impacted the outcome of Murdaugh's murder trial.
Murdaugh was given two life sentences in connection to the 2021 deaths of his wife Maggie and son Paul.
