(Charleston, SC)- Former attorney and convicted murderer Alex Murdaugh is pleading guilty to crimes for the first time.
He pleaded guilty in federal court in Charleston to 22 federal charges for fraud and money laundering.
Murdaugh cried during the hearing Thursday. Sentencing will happen at a later date.
Murdaugh is already serving life in prison for the deaths of his wife and son.
