(Richland County, SC)- The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating after an elementary school student was hit by a vehicle while walking to school in Richland County.
The incident happened Wednesday morning near Mill Creek Elementary School.
Troopers say the child was struck by an SUV on Universal Drive. T
he student was taken to the hospital.
