(Columbia, SC) -- Several incidents are being investigated at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center after the federal government announced they'd be looking into accusations of civil rights violations at the facility.
Two inmates were stabbed Friday night, and another inmate was assaulted and stabbed Sunday.
Both incidents were reported after the U.S. Department of Justice announced their investigation into the jail on Thursday.
Richland County officials report three inmate deaths at the facility this year as well as over a dozen stabbings.
