(Richland County, SC)-- A teenager is heading to prison for running over a deputy in Richland County.
A judge sentenced Jamon Cheatham to ten-years yesterday after he pleaded guilty to attempted murder and other charges.
Cheatham was 17-years-old when he was accused of striking Deputy Sarah Merriman with a stolen car in August 2022.
The deputy was off the job for two-months during recovery.
