Police Warning After Shooting Death Of Pizza Delivery Driver

(Columbia, SC)-- Police are warning delivery drivers to take precautions after a pizza delivery driver was killed in Columbia.

The 48-year-old man was delivering a pizza at Stonebridge Apartments when he was fatally shot.

Police are asking delivery workers to be aware of their surroundings, avoid carrying large amounts of cash, and to not leave their vehicle running unattended.

Police say delivery drivers should call their job if their delivery location is too dark, looks vacant, or makes them feel uncomfortable.

The deadly shooting is still under investigation.
