Vice President Harris Speaks On Anniversary Of January 6th

(Myrtle Beach, SC)-- Vice President Kamala Harris delivered a keynote address in South Carolina to mark the third anniversary of the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol.

She spoke in Myrtle Beach on Saturday, reflecting on January 6th as a day "when a mob violently attacked the United States Capitol" in an attempt to overthrow the results of a free and fair election.

She said she remembers the day as one of "violence, chaos, and lawlessness" and added although America has come a long way since January 6th, there is still work that must be done.

Her speech came after President Biden on Friday criticized former President Donald Trump's actions that day in a speech near Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.
