(Forest Acres, SC)- A Forest Acres police officer is recovering after being injured in a crash.
Officials say the officer was stuck inside his patrol vehicle during a crash involving an SUV on Sunday afternoon.
The officer was not responding to a call at the time of the collision.
The Forest Acres Police Chief says the officer's injuries are not life threatening.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
