Woman Charged With Felony DUI For Crash That Killed Teacher Denied Bond

(Irmo, SC) - A woman remains in jail after being charged for a deadly crash in Irmo.

Chelsie Pittman is accused of driving under the influence Thursday night, causing the crash which killed Saluda County High School teacher, band director, and soccer coach Jennifer Brooke Wingate.

A judge denied bond for Pittman in bond court Saturday morning.

The judge cited Pittman's past driving violations as the reason, including that Pittman faced a habitual traffic offender charge in court less than two weeks ago.
