Trump Mentions Tim Scott As Possible VP Pick

(Mar A Lago, FL)-- Former President Trump says it will be "a little while" before he selects a running mate, but he did mention some names who are and aren't under consideration.

Speaking on Fox Sunday Morning Futures, Trump said he "talks to everybody" and he has "a lot of good people" in mind.

He singled out South Carolina Senator and former GOP presidential candidate Tim Scott, saying he told Scott he's "a much better candidate" for Trump than he was for himself.

Trump said he also likes South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, who he said commented publicly she would never run against him "because (she) could never beat him."

Despite reports that the Trump campaign reached out to Robert F. Kennedy Jr, Trump said it "never happened."
