South Carolina State University Student Charged After Campus Lockdown

(Orangeburg, SC)- A student at South Carolina State University is facing charges after a lockdown at the school. 

Officials locked down the Orangeburg campus between 11:30 a.m. and 12:26 p.m. Tuesday after a report of shots fired in an academic building. No injuries were reported. 

Nineteen-year-old sophomore Rolando J. Ifill is charged with carrying a firearm on school property - but more charges could be coming. The investigation is ongoing.
