(Greenville, SC)-- A Furman University student-athlete is in critical condition.
The head coach for the school's football team says Bryce Stanfield had a medical emergency during a morning workout at Paladin Stadium.
Stanfield is now at Greenville Memorial Hospital on life support, according to the school.
The chapel sanctuary was open late last night to provide students a quiet place to pray for Stanfield.
