(Fort Jackson, SC)-- A chaplain candidate at Fort Jackson is being mourned after dying while attending the Institute for Religious Leadership.
The person was a soldier in the National Guard whose identity has not yet been made public.
An Army post says the soldier collapsed during a formation run and was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Next of kin is being notified.
