Benches Clear In USC-LSU Game

(Greenville, SC)-- The University of South Carolina women's basketball team will be shorthanded when NCAA Tournament play begins.

During yesterday's SEC championship game in Greenville against LSU, Gamecocks forward Kamilla Cardoso was ejected after she pushed LSU's Flau'jae Johnson to the floor.

Benches cleared, and police and security helped calm things down. A fan who came onto the court was handcuffed and escorted out of Bon Secours Wellness Arena.

ESPN reported the man was Johnson's brother. Cardoso Tweeted an apology and said she's committed to conducting herself with the utmost respect and sportsmanship in the future.

USC went on to win, 79-72, and claimed its eighth SEC tournament title. They improved to 32-and-oh this season.
