(Nashville, TN)-- The University of South Carolina's men's basketball coach is being recognized for a historic season.
Lamont Paris was named SEC Coach of the Year yesterday .
It comes after the greatest single-season turnaround in program history. The Gamecocks won 25 games after winning just 11 last season.
The 25 wins are the most regular season wins in program history.
USC is the five-seed in the SEC Tournament that starts tomorrow in Nashville. They'll take on the Arkansas-Vanderbilt winner on Thursday.
