New DUI Law In Effect In South Carolina

(Columbia, SC)-- Drivers must now abide by a new DUI law in South Carolina.

The "All Offender Law" went into effect Sunday.

The measure requires drivers convicted of a DUI to participate in the ignition interlock device program.

That means their vehicle will have an ignition lock that will not allow the driver to start the car until they pass a breathalyzer.
