Bond Denied For Teen Accused Of Shooting K-9 Officer

(Columbia, SC) - Bond is denied for a 17-year-old who was shot by Richland County deputies after allegedly shooting a K-9 officer. 

Jeremy Taylor is charged as an adult with attempted murder, unlawful injury to a police dog, failure to stop for blue lights, and grand larceny of a motor vehicle in connection to the March 14th incident. 

The teen is detained in the juvenile wing of the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center after being in the hospital for over a week for treatment of gunshot wounds. 

Officials say the K-9 officer returned to work last week.
