(Columbia, SC)-- South Carolina Senator Dick Harpootlian is conceding in the Democratic Senate 26 primary race.
Harpootlian announced Wednesday that he will support his opponent, Representative Russell Ott, in the November election.
Ott beat Harpootlian 51-percent to 49-percent on Tuesday after facing off for the seat of Nikki Setzler, who did not seek re-election.
