Victims of a crash that killed a bride on her wedding night are being awarded over one-million dollars by a judge in Charleston County.
Samantha Miller was killed in April of 2023 after a vehicle rear-ended a golf cart after her marriage on Folly Beach. The groom- Aric Hutchinson- was injured in the incident. A settlement of one-point-three-million dollars total was reached in court with several businesses accused of overserving the driver of the vehicle that hit the golf cart.
Litigation against the driver- Jamie Lee Komoroski- is still pending.
