Several South Carolina Counties Under Heat Advisory Today

(Columbia, SC)-- Several counties in South Carolina are under a heat advisory today.

The advisory is in place from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the central part of the state. 

That includes Fairfield, Newberry, Kershaw, Sumter, Calhoun, Clarendon, Orangeburg, Lexington and Richland Counties. 

Temperatures could reach 100 degrees, with it feeling as hot as 110 degrees once humidity is considered.
