ACLU Files New Lawsuit Over South Carolina's Congressional Districts

(Columbia, SC)-- A new lawsuit is filed over South Carolina's congressional districts.

The ACLU is challenging the state's districts, alleging there is partisan gerrymandering affecting the First and Sixth Congressional Districts.

The lawsuit alleges the maps that were approved in 2022 create a Republican advantage.

The plaintiff in the case is the League of Women Voters.
