(Cayce, SC) -- A crash in Lexington County is claiming the life of a senior citizen.
Ninety-one-year-old Joyce Backman was involved in a collision on Charleston Highway on Wednesday evening.
She and the other driver got out of their cars to assess the damage and were hit by a third vehicle during that time.
Backman was taken to the hospital, where she later died.
The other driver who was hit is expected to survive their injuries while police continue to investigate the incident.
