(Columbia, SC) - South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster is being appointed to the Council of Governors.
He was one of ten new appointments from President Trump on Thursday.
The Council of Governors is a bipartisan group started in 2010.
McMaster issued a statement saying he looks forward to working with fellow governors to strengthen disaster response and national security efforts.
