Plane Heading To Columbia Returns To Airport Over Haze On Plane

(Columbia, SC) - Dozens of people flying to the Palmetto State are being rebooked after their flight did not go as expected.

Delta Airlines flight 876 was leaving Atlanta when passengers reported a smoke-like substance or haze in the plane.

The plane landed back at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and slides were deployed on the runway to allow passengers to exit.

Ninety-four customers were on board the plane, which was originally scheduled to land in Columbia.
