(Columbia, SC) -- A South Carolina lawmaker was taken into custody in Lexington County. Records show state Representative Robert May was arrested yesterday and was listed as a "HOLD FOR DUSM", which means he is being held for the U.S. Marshals Service. The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of South Carolina declined to comment about the reason for the arrest. May's arrest comes after Homeland Security Investigations agents seized dozens of devices from his home back in August, including cellphones, hard drives, and thumb drives.
