(Lexington County, SC) -- SLED is investigating an inmate death at the Lexington County detention center. Twenty-five-year-old Morgan Daniel Kannaday was taken to Lexington Medical Center on Friday, but did not survive. Kannaday was being held in jail for a late June arrest for an alleged DUI, traffic offenses, and a drug charge. Further information on what caused his death has not been made public.
