A woman found guilty of beating her foster child to death is asking the state's highest court to review an appeal.
Ariel Robinson - a former Food Network show contestant - was found guilty of homicide by child abuse in 2022 after the death of three-year-old Victoria Rose Smith. Robinson's defense team appealed - saying photos of Smith's injuries should not have been shown to the jury. The appeal was denied.
The defense is now asking the South Carolina Supreme Court to review.
