Five Arrested In Connection With Ten-Year-Old's Shooting Death In Beech Isl

Five people are in custody in connection with the death of a ten-year-old girl in Beech Island.

Police say shooters fired shots at a home on June 25th. One of the bullets made it inside, striking and killing Lavinia Lowe. On Thursday, Aiken County officials announced the arrests of three 18-year-olds and two 17-year-olds in the case.

Police believe the shooting was meant to be in retaliation for a deadly incident that happened in Warrenville just days earlier- but the target of the shooting no longer live at the home that was hit.
