The South Carolina Department of Public Health is investigating an outbreak of the measles in the Upstate.
Eight cases have been confirmed as of October 1st. That includes two cases in July, one in early September, and five more recent cases.
Health officials say five of the cases are traced to a potential undisclosed school which is still open.
